Oh my gosh, I love Billy Collins, and this is one of my favorites. My sister met him years ago when he was the Poet Laureate at a poetry reading in Milwaukee and then went out with him for drinks afterwards (with a small group). What a lovely, witty man. That poem is sooo good. There, I leaned on my creative spelling to avoid using an exclamation mark.

The link I used was to “Like, You Know”, but pretty much all of his stuff is good. Especially the one about Tony Steinberg and the one titled “What Teachers Make”, but he also has a couple of darker ones about the suicide of someone close to him. Very entertaining guy.
